Short Biography

Tonio Triebel studied Computer Science at the University of Freiburg and graduated 2006 with a Diploma in Computer Science. Afterwards he got the admission to a PhD program at the University of Mannheim. From 2006 to 2009 he was member of the BWFit-Projekt SpoVNet (Spontane Virtuelle Netze). During this time he developed the space shooter game "Planet ∏4“ that was used as a test application for the SpoVNet overlay network.

Currently he is a member of the DFG-Forschergruppe QuaP2P (Quality of Peer-to-Peer-Networks). His research focus is on benchmarking peer-to-peer overlays for real time online games.
