Location and Time | Initial meeting: Wednesday, September 5th, 10:15 - 11:45, room C112, building A5, 6. In the initial meeting topics will be assigned to the participants. Also, if the majority of the participants prefers another day/time, a new time can be agreed on in the first meeting, too. Even if you have not registered to the course through the portal, you can still attend the first meeting and join the seminar as long as free topics are available. Organizational matter | The written part of the presentation should consist of 10-12 pages. The final version has to be submitted to the adviser both as hard copy and digital version by no later than one week before the presentation. Each presentation is scheduled for 30 minutes. The presentation slides have to be presented to the adviser until Wednesday evening before the presentation itself (to discuss them on Thursday). Written text and presentation can be either in German or English (the language has to be consistent across both parts). At the end of the seminar, the participants will receive a grade based on the quality of the half-hour talk and the written text. The attendance at all presentations of the seminar is mandatory! |
